Synopsis
Elena is part of La Trilogía Escarlata (Genaro, Tierra Escarlata, and Elena), which explores the construction of Colombian historical memory through fiction.
Elena finds a wounded paramilitary fighter and decides to help him. While he recovers, he realizes that he is in the house of a boy whom his group had killed days before. He confesses, and undaunted, in a display of kindness, she helps him escape before the imminent arrival of the one who is looking for him.
